MGS SelectTM is the evolution of nutrition in North America. The development of software and process allows us to customize most nutrition demands in a simple and convenient package. MGS SelectTM allows us to combine various raw products and assemble them in convenient one way sacs to be delivered anywhere in North America. Continuing this innovative trend, MGS SelectTM has evolved again to have an online order feature to put even more control and features in the end users hands.
 

Integrated Pest Management Innovation:
We continue to be the leaders of integrated pest management successfully combining the use of biological and chemical control products. In fact, we were the first to source and supply biological pest management to large-scale commercial greenhouse operations in Ontario. Today we continue to supply quality service and products to the North American market from quality reputable suppliers.
 

Ultra-Low Volume Spray Innovation:
By sourcing industry leaders in Japan, we became the only company in North America to identify the uniqueness and value of ultra-low volume spraying, which put our customers at an advantage over their competitors. For certain products, this proven technique has become the preferred method of pest control application within the greenhouse industry and has added to the safe handling of pest control products.
 

Rockwool Innovation:
While rockwool was in its very early stages of development in the Netherlands, we identified the significant value it could add to our customers. MGS Horticultural thoroughly tested applications and systems to enable us to develop our own technology and promote growing hydroponically in rockwool. This investment has led us to become the largest rockwool supplier in the Southwestern Ontario market.
 

Bumblebees For Pollination:
MGS Horticultural Inc. knew that the development of biological pollinators was going to be a significant advancement in the production of greenhouse tomatoes. We screened and selected indigenous species of bumblebees and then developed efficient and effective methods of breeding, hibernation and mass rearing. As the sole investor and developer of the use of bumblebees for pollination in North America, once again we provided our customers a technological advantage, as they were the first to apply the innovation.
